Rogers x NoTraffic x UBC

This weekend we’ll be joining Rogers, The Institute of Computing, Information and Cognitive Systems (ICICS) at the University of British Columbia, and the City of Vancouver to their virtual Smart Transportation Case Challenge. While technology innovation is an enabler that improves the possibilities and efficiencies of each smart city project, it can be a real challenge for municipalities to adopt due to time, budget, access to technology, policies, and others.

Our own Justin Effinger will be mentoring and judging the students, as they ideate and explore the real value of implementing smart traffic technologies in Vancouver. We’re excited to partner with Rogers Communications, which is committed to bring 5G to life for Canadians through network investments and strategic partnerships.
