NoTraffic Named Winner of M2 Miami Mobility Challenge

Miami, FL – CoMotion today announced that Israel’s NoTraffic has been crowned winner of the inaugural M2 Miami Mobility Challenge. NoTraffic’s innovative autonomous traffic management platform bested dozens of rival mobility startups and solutions, in a worldwide challenge that solicited the best and brightest companies from across the transportation landscape.

The M2 Challenge is a civic startup competition, focused on bringing together both cities and innovators from both sides of the Americas to tackle the urgent challenges of urban mobility.

Given the unprecedented issues currently facing cities in the face of COVID-19, this year’s challenge had a special focus on solutions centered around resilience.

As the winner, NoTraffic can now preview a pilot of its solution to Miami-Dade County officials, speeding up deployment across South Florida, the United States, and the globe.

“It’s a true honor to be selected as the winner of the inaugural M2 Challenge. We’re excited to work with CoMotion, Miami-Dade, and the cities of the world to solve traffic challenges and unlock mobility benefits,” said Tal Kreisler, NoTraffic’s CEO and Co-Founder.

The winning announcement was made Wednesday, as several thousand mobility and urban leaders from North America, Latin America and around the world participated in a virtual edition of CoMotion MIAMI LIVE. This year’s Miami Mobility Challenge was a joint initiative of CoMotion MIAMI, Miami-Dade County, Wayra and The NewCities Foundation, and was powered by UrbanLeap.
